There are so many things to consider and we often are tempted to think that we are just going to go for the cheapest bid no matter what when making our decisions. First up is the biggy which is most visible and will make the biggest difference in terms of looks and that is if you are having any kind of split or decaying wood. Next up is the flashing. Flashing is a metal or plastic guard that directs water out and away from sensitive areas. This is often install where deck and homes come together.
